It is time to WALK THE RED CARPET at Greene County Career Center’s Prom on Saturday April 20 from 7-10 pm here at the Career Center. There will be music, dancing, food trucks, prizes, games and so much more!
Tickets will be on sale until WEDNESDAY APRIL 17 during lunch times. Tickets will be $15 per person. If you are bringing a guest that does not attend the Career Center, you MUST complete an out of district contract application before buying tickets!
At dismissal time, no student should be standing in the hallway or by an exterior door waiting to leave before 2:05 PM. All students should remain in their classroom until they are released by the appropriate bell. Students who are in the hallway before 2:05 PM will have their names written down and could be faced with a write up for being out of their assigned area. Please stay in your classroom until dismissed.

Students must be in uniform every day. IF you need to borrow a uniform you must do so before the end of first period. Students borrowing a uniform after first period
will receive a detention.
Students must report to the cafeteria during their designated lunch times. No student is allowed to leave the lunch room without a pass from a teacher or administrative approval. Students are not permitted to hang out in the Student Lounge, break out rooms, or conference rooms during their lunch times
Veterinary Science is hosting doggie day care! Pay $10 for your dog to come to our lab and play with other dogs brought in by your friends and fellow students. For more information on requirements and how to sign up, take a brochure off the Veterinary Science door or contact Dr. Rickabaugh.
If you need to take a medication at GCCC, you are required to have a prescription from your doctor AND provide the school nurse with the medication. This includes Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, etc. GCCC does not provide students with any medications. This may be different from your home school so check in with the school nurse if you have any questions or you need the form!
Students are not permitted to wear shorts/ hoodies/leggings or sweatpants/ joggers/ track pants (except exercise science) or jeans with holes in them!

Bellbrook Students:
Talent show this Friday that starts at 1:50. There will be bus at 1:25 p.m. Students- this will be the only bus for the day for students to get back to the high school on Friday.

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS – If you are interested in engineering or you have an interest in the aerospace industry, stop by Mr. Statt’s room to learn about an exciting field trip opportunity! Mr. Statt will be taking students to visit the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where you will learn engineering skills and meet aerospace industry professionals working on the future of Air Force technology. Space is limited, so don’t delay.
Cedarville Prom Goers - If you are bringing an outside guest to Prom (not a Cedarville HS student) your guest muus have returned the Guest Form to the high school office or to Mrs. Barber by April 5th, the Friday after Spring Break.

Saturday, March 23, is a BIG! day for the FHS Baseball team! For starters, it’s the first official game day of the season. The FHS Varsity team will play at Home against the Kent Rough Riders starting at noon. Then on the way home from the game, meet ALL of the FHS Baseball team members and coaches at City Barbecue on Fairfield Road in Beavercreek. Use the attached flyer or the code “FundA” when making your purchase and 20% of your bill will be donated to the FHS Baseball team. If you can’t make the game or the “Meet the Team” event, you can still use the attached flyer or code to buy food, eat-in or carry-out, any time between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm. Either way, it’ll be a GREAT! way to start off spring break with your family.
Seniors, if you plan on attending the Senior Faculty Breakfast on Monday May 13, you will need to complete the breakfast sandwich order form. This form is located on the Class of 2024 Google Classroom and must be completed by Friday, March 22, to attend the event. See Mrs. Lanning in room 224 with questions.
The Gender and Sexuality Alliance meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in Room 316- it's not too late to join! Come join us to learn, discuss, and have fun. Next meeting is Tuesday, February 6.
Fairborn High School has a new club - Christians in Action. We invite you and welcome you to join us for games, snacks, fellowship, and most importantly Jesus! We meet every Tuesday in the Senior Dining Hall from 2:45 to 3:30.
Did you know you could buy a concession stand card? What is this you ask? This is a card onto which you can load money and use at any school function where the concession stand is open. You can reload money onto this card at any time. These can be bought from the Skyhawk Athletic Booster Club.
Greeneview Students:
Greeneview Caps and Gowns have been delivered to the high school. Students can pick up caps and gowns and announcements at the high school anytime between 6:45am and 3:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Due to the number of students on the work program at the career center, Herff Jones delivered all caps and gowns to the high school.
Please note: High School is closed for Spring Break 3/30 - 4/1 and also closed 4/8 and 4/26.
We have an assembly this Friday, March 22nd. Early dismissal for students at 1:25pm. This will be the last bus of the day.
Students: PLEASE know there is a $2 donation to attend. Money raised goes to our Senior Class.

Greeneview High School offers FREE after school tutoring, from 2:35 - 3:35 to any interested student. Tutoring is drop-in (no appointment necessary) and held in the teacher's room. If you have a specific question or need help in a subject, this is a great opportunity to get your answer.

We are thrilled to announce the details for the 2024 Xenia Prom. This memorable event will take place on April 27th from 8-11 pm at the Schindler Banquet Center located at 1183 Tyndale Drive, Xenia, Ohio. It promises to be an enchanting evening filled with cherished memories for our students.
Attention XHS Juniors and Seniors, Prom Dance Guest Forms for Out-of-District Guests and for XHS Grade 10 Guests are available in the Main Office. If you are planning on bringing a guest please pick these up today. Tickets will be on sale starting April 15th until April 24th. Purchase yours during lunch hours or conveniently online. Please note: no sales before or after school, and tickets will not be sold at the door.

Please note the following policy changes & updates for the 2024 Prom:
• Ninth grade students will not be permitted to attend the Prom.
• Out of district guests must be in Grade 11 or 12 or be 20 years of age or under.
• April 19, 2024 is a HARD deadline for acceptance of completed Dance Guest Forms; i.e. COMPLETED guest dance forms will not be accepted for approval if provided to the Main Office after April 19, 2024.
• Refunds from purchase of Prom tickets will not be given for any reason.
• Purchased tickets are non-interchangeable.
• Any outside guest who is not currently enrolled in a school or does not have current employment will not be permitted to attend the Prom.
• All attendees to the Prom must arrive at the dance by 9:00pm. Anyone arriving after 9:00pm will not be admitted.
• Violation of school rules by any XHS student or their guest attending the Prom may result in dismissal from the dance, discipline, and regarding future dances-being prohibited from attendance at or bringing a guest to.

Do you need community service hours? Join the Guardians of the Glen. Every Friday from 3 until 5. You meet and check in at the trailside museum.
Are you interested in earning community service hours? Do you enjoy the outdoors and helping the environment? The Beaver Creek Wetlands Association is offering service opportunities for all volunteers this March. Visit beavercreekwetlands.org/volunteer to register. All grades are eligible for volunteering!
